Small business owners and individual creators struggle to manage all the moving parts of their business because that’s not really where their talent lies. Nor is it always necessary to hire a full time person to take on all kinds of little projects, and hiring is a hassle anyway.

You might be really good at editing and coaching authors, like my client, Kate, but managing social media strategy and creating materials for webinars? Not really her thing. But it is mine.

But why me?

For one, I’m not a fancy firm that’s going to charge you an arm and a leg just to have a little chat, and then charge you again when I do the work I said I was going to do.

Second, I am no frills. It’s either working or it isn’t, and if it isn’t, we start troubleshooting.

Third, this is my specialty. I am particularly skilled at finding inefficiencies, dysfunctional processes, and creatively resolving problems. It’s what I did for 4.5 years at Custom Patch Hats, Inc Magazine’s 140th fastest growing startup (3000% over 3 years!). If it needed to get done, I was the one to either do it or facilitate getting it done. It’s where I thrive.

That proposal will outline what I think the scope of work is based on our initial discussion, a project outline and recurring meetings, and what pricing structure I think will work best for the work we’ll be doing. Pricing will either be as a monthly retainer, per hour, or per project/deliverable.
